Capt Laurito, I must confess that I didn't follow the controversy surrounding Lee B. and his 1946 Salisbury as regards the 2012 Scooter Cannonball. I did read this: "Somewhere along the line they changed the rules. About day 4 I think. Mainly because Lee B was going to win no matter what because of his scooter's age handicap. I think it was a good idea as it put competition back into the race. This was a whole new format and it had some glitches. How they come up with the scoring beats me. These guys are rocket scientists and talk Delta and minimum points and other stuff I did not get. I just rode Big Red hard and he loved it."The above quote, which appears at scootercannonball2012.blogspot.com/2012/05/day-after.html, was written by the rider who finished in 20th Place. Am I interpreting this correctly? An alleged rule change mid-event possibly intended to disenfranchise the rally leader? And someone who finished 20th applauding the change, and lauding the organizer as a rocket scientist? Alan
